I’ve been living a nomadic life since 2017, when I made a conscious decision to follow my love for travel and explore a different way of living. At the time, I was working as a Care Assistant in Singapore, until a wake-up call changed everything. One night, after a severe bout of alcohol intoxication that ended with me in the hospital, I was forced to pause and ask myself:

Rise Within Project with Awake to Create.. .
"RISE. WITHIN." is our interpretation of the theme "RISE" for the ColorPro Awards and Global Visual Arts Competition 2023.
We (I and Awake to Create Team) crafted a narrative that explores the concept of rising, both creatively as personally. It's easy to feel overshadowed by people who appear to have achieved great heights, but remember, external success doesn't always reflect internal well-being.
Shot in Bangkok with the SonyFX3 and SonyA7IV, using Sony lenses 85mm F1.8 & 35mm F1.8 and the 20-70 mm F4.0. What are your thoughts about our interpretation of RISE and our visual approach in this short film?
